I understand that this book was satirical, and I just found out that satirical books are not really for me after listening to this one. The thriller tropes are cheesy, as they are meant to be (that IS the point!). The author even makes fun of herself in a funny way right at the beginning of the story. Most people who enjoy Freida McFadden's other books will enjoy this one, I just know that this wasn't for me.
I give books I like 3 stars and above, so I gave this a 2.5 star rating because it was a fine book, just really not for me.
